Dental bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth. A dental bridge is essentially a prosthetic tooth (or teeth) that attaches to your natural, existing teeth. Dental bridges are custom-made for every patient and are made to beautifully blend in with the surrounding teeth, giving patients back their ability to speak and chew as well as smile again.
Making a dental bridge usually takes two visits. During the first visit, the teeth are prepared for the dental bridge, then a mold or impression is taken and then the teeth are given a temporary dental bridge. This is necessary so that a lab can use the impression to make an esthetic and excellent fitting bridge.
Once the lab finishes your new teeth, the second visit occurs. During this visit, the temporary bridge is easily removed and the permanent bridge is fitted and cemented in place. The result is natural-looking teeth that will boost your confidence and make you feel better about smiling.
